Ardougne Achievement Diary Release
Hey everyone, sorry I haven’t been posting lately, I took a break from RuneScape, but I am back now.
As I was trying to get a dragon pick from the chaos cannoneers Jagex updated and released the ardy achievement diary, hopefully it will have a good reward like the other diaries
Good luck to anyone that tries it.
It’s time again for another Achievement Diary, for those players who like to explore what’s available in a specific area. It’s the turn of Ardougne to come under the all-seeing-eye of the diary taskmasters, but we’re not limiting things to just a few tasks here and there this time. A number of them have either come from or been inspired by player suggestions on the forum thread we ran for this not too long ago.
Explore the Ardougne area as you’ve never done before! From the Legends’ Guild to Castle Wars, and from the Combat Training Camp to Yanille, there’s something for everyone. You’ll uncover some fiendishly difficult tasks that will push your skills to their limits, plus a rather ‘sneaky’ reward at the end of your travels. Hopefully, everyone will learn a thing or two along the way too.
So get out those gloves of silence and your teleport runes, and take a walk round Kandarin today.

Where to start the Ardougne Achievement Diary:Speak to Dr Orbon in the church, Ardougne’s town crier or Aleck in Yanille’s Hunter shop.
In other news…
Health bars will no longer become completely red unless the player/monster has zero hitpoints.
When you’re in resizeable mode, the chat window can now be vertically resized to show more lines of text, chat and other messages. Your stats interface will also expand itself to remove the need for a scroll bar.
After completing Within the Light, you can ask Eluned to help you add a choice of destination to your teleport crystals.
Your gravestone should now be indicated on the minimap.
The position of your Friends and Clan Chat list vertical bars are now remembered between logins, provided you’re using the signed applet.
You are now allowed to purchase multiple skillcapes.
We’ve changed the way the TzHaar Fight Cave records your progress. In future, if you get disconnected during a wave, you’ll automatically restart from that wave rather than having to begin the minigame again. You can still use the logout button to make the minigame log you off when you’ve completed your current wave.
The interface that lets you change the left-click function of the Summoning status globe (next to the minimap) will no longer be closed by combat.
Murky Matt at the Grand Exchange can now combine the charges on members’ teleport jewellery.

Glad that you are back posting, Del.
I would not mind betting that the reward for the Ardougne Achievement Diary will be legs this time, but we shall have to wait and see. I wont be doing it until tomorrow or even later.
Looks like I will have to do castle wars to complete the diary though…I have never done castle wars..not really my thing.
The choice of destination to your teleport crystals sounds interesting… not sure what it is about right now, but it would be handy to get the crystal to teleport where it did on the quest for Dark beasts.
All the best for those attempting to do the Ardougne Achievement Diary. I hope the rewards are good

Thanks iApollyon for letting us know…maybe the next diary will give legs?
Looks like the cloaks have advantages mostly for thieving and runecrafting, but also have some good teleports, such as the one that goes to the Ardy farming patch.
Rewards for the easy cloak are:
Teleport to the monastery south of Ardougne
Better chance at successful thieving in Ardougne
Twice as many death runes when trading a cat to a citizen in West Ardougne
More drops in the Tower Of Life will become noted.
A boost of Prayer on entry to Castle Wars
A 1,000 experience lamp.
Medium task rewards are:
All of the easy tasks, plus
Teleport to Ardougne Farm once per day.
Better chance at successful pickpocket in Ardougne.
Better chance at getting more runes at Ourania Alter.
Even more of the drops from the Tower of Life will be noted.
100 Pure Essence per day from Wizard Cromperty.
Longer immunity from attack once teleporting to the wilderness from the Ardougne Lever.
Toggle Ring of life teleport to Ardougne.
A 7,500 experience lamp.
Hard Task rewards:
To be mentioned when we find out.

there is elite tasks too

Thanks “the owner”
Yes I have heard that you can get elite tasks too after finishing the hard tasks. However, you need some very high skills to be able to complete it. 93 summoning and 91 smithing will keep me from completing the elite task for a while. It will be interesting to find out the reward for the elite task.

Apparently the rewards for the elite tasks are 4x 50k lamps for skills over 85 and unlimited teleports to the farm north of ardy. Hope that helps, I’m also going to be slowed down with smithing and summoning too.
As for the hard tasks you get: better chance to pickpocket anywhere in runescape, the traps on chests will teleport you to ardy north bank instead of random areas, more of the drops from tower of life will be noted, 150 ess per day instead of 100 and the ability to change watchtower teleport to inside yanille walls.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the update delarue64.
4x50k lamps sounds good… unlimited teleports to the farm north of ardy is even better…will help my farming and herblore quite a bit..when I finally get the levels required to finish it all…at least I have 82 thieving to do the pick the lock in the building next to the bank. I actually got 82 thieving so that I could pick that lock to gain easy access to herbs.
