Pyramid Plunder Guide
Hi there everyone. There has been another update on the bestrunetips site, this time it is the Pyramid Plunder mini game guide. That was kindly donated by my friend on runescape “Ikersterer”. He has 99 thieving, so he knows what he is talking about.
Bacon749 was kind enough to share this picture of him getting 99 thieving. As he mentioned below in his comments, it was his 4th 99 skill level which is quite a great achievement. He found that Pryramid Plunder was a very quick way of gaining xp in thieving and even told me that it was faster than getting to 99 cooking.

if im only 33 hitpoints how much food do you think i will need?
what sort of damage do the monsters deal??

the snakes hit 1s on the first few rooms, then 2, 3, and they hit 4 on the last room, the poison hits 2-3 and take a full inv of the best food you can afford.

I have been using the guide recently and found it very useful. It was a very quick way to get from 67 to 75. I plan to get my thieving up a little higher using pyramid plunder. I now have no doubt that it is the best way to get thieving up.
I found that the Pharaoh’s Sceptre was a useful item to have as well as completing the Contact quest. The quest gives access to the bank, just NE of the pyramid, which is handy for storing the plunder and for regaining health. The Sceptre teleports you straight to the mummy, saving much valuable time.
I found that it is best working in groups, so that you can find the door to the next room quicker.
Always have room in your inventory before clicking on the middle treasure box. I had a plenty of time left and got a message on the sreen saying something like “you have looted a Pharoah’s Sceptre, but you do not have space left in your inventory. Drop an item to make room for it”. Unfortunately I found myself outside of the pyramid as soon as I got this message, even though I still had plenty of time left (no time up message) and so I lost the sceptre.

That is a pity about missing out on the sceptre.
Hopefully you can get another one, without getting the bug.

I found out today that once you get a sceptre you automatically get kicked out no matter what time you have left. Which isn’t fair for people that are kind of new to pyramid plunder and don’t know about this so they dont bother checking what they get from the urns/chest. I might work on getting higher thieving after I get 99 attack.

Personal i found everyting on the Plunder site to be very useful, this got me started at Plunder a few months ago. Today (Tuesday 22nd Jan.) i managed to get 99 thieving. Thanks for the info alowed me to be able to gain a 4th 99. Not getting a sceptre at all was a disappointment but don’t expect miracles. Good luck with it ^.^
