The Grand Exchange Update
Recently Jagex have created the grand exchange which is located just north west of the west bank in varrock. It is a very useful update and one of the best I have seen so far. It allows you to put items in or bid for items you would like to buy for the market prices and do stuff that you need to do instead of standing around and trying to buy or sell the items. I found it to be very useful when I was after some nature runes for the yew longs I made.
It is also good for buying items that take ages to find in world 2 or 1 such as trimmed armour and items like that. To start using it you have to talk to the tutor near the bottom of the grand exchange which can be found where the question mark on the mini map is. Then you click on the exchange clerk near the middle of that area. Then if you are selling some items click on one of the boxes and click sell, click on the item you’re selling then set the price you want and click the accept button. To sell the items, click on one of the empty boxes and click buy, then click on the box that is glowing yellow, and type in the item you are looking for, or part of the items name, set the price and amount you are after.
You will get a message saying that your grand exchange has been updated or something like that. That message lets you know that the items you were trading are completed and ready to be collected. To collect the stuff or check on how its going, just right click on any normal bank and click on the collect option, if your trade has been completed then you can click on the item/items in the box bellow the green bar.
I also found out that there is a bank right next to the clerk that you exchange your items with, so it is very useful for buying supplies for skills such as herblore and fletching without having to move to sell or buy more supplies.
Happy exchanging!
